Digital X-rays / CBCT
Our diagnostic imaging at Smile Orthodontics is completely digital. This not only means it provides a near-instantaneous image, it also emits significantly less radiation – about 90 percent less than traditional x-ray units. Therefore, when you have x-rays taken at our practice, you can rest assured they are safe and efficient.
Digital imaging also allows our doctors to zoom in and manipulate the images for clarity. This means more accurate and precise treatment for our patients.

How Does AcceleDent Aura Work?
AcceleDent is a device that is placed over braces or aligners for approximately 20 minutes every day. The success of AcceleDent is primarily due to its innovative SoftPulse Technology™. By applying gentle micropulses to the teeth, movement can be facilitated, and the bone remodeling process can be accelerated. The pressure applied by the device is less than an electric toothbrush, but incredibly effective when used routinely.
