How We are Different

Choosing a healthcare provider can be a stressful process. With so many options, it is challenging to know if you are making the right decision. At Smile Suffolk Braces, we strive to deliver the highest quality of care every single day. Want to know how we are different from other practices out there? Read on to find out.

Board-Certified Orthodontists

All licensed orthodontists are eligible to practice. In fact, there are even many general dentists who place braces every day. However, a board-certified orthodontist goes above and beyond, taking on hundreds of additional hours of work and training to demonstrate his or her dedication and skill in the field of orthodontics. Drs. Thomas T. Taylor has received his board certification through the American Board of Orthodontics, an achievement less than one-third of all orthodontists ever obtain.

A Philosophy of Comprehensive Care

Our doctors practice the three levels of orthodontics. This philosophy encourages harmony between oral health and whole-body wellbeing. When most people think of orthodontic treatment, they think of straightening teeth. While braces can certainly achieve this goal, there are additional elements that should be considered to create a healthy smile. For example, when orthodontics is practiced correctly, the teeth are aligned, the jaw joints are positioned correctly, and the airways are opened for a balanced, functional, healthy smile.

Treatment for the Entire Family

At Smile Suffolk Braces, we treat patients of all ages. When necessary, we can provide early interceptive treatment for children, which can address skeletal issues while patients are still in the developmental stages. We also offer a variety of orthodontic treatments for adolescents, teenagers, and adults. No matter what your needs or aesthetic goals, we can design an effective treatment plan just for you.

We also understand your time is valuable. Therefore, if you have multiple family members undergoing treatment, we will work with you to schedule all appointments within the same time frame for your convenience.

Flexible Financing

We are a preferred provider for Anthem, Cigna, Connection Dental, DeltaCare, all Delta Dentals, DenteMax, Guardian, GEHA, Humana, MetLife, United Concordia and United Healthcare. We also understand that not everyone has dental insurance. Even those who have an insurance plan may not be covered by their particular policy. That is why we offer a number of payment options for our patients. At Suffolk Braces, we believe everyone should have access to quality care. No matter your needs, we can help you determine a financial option that will fit your budget.
