What to Expect at Your First Visit

We look forward to meeting you at your initial consultation. We recognize that each patient's orthodontic treatment is unique, and we promise to give you the individual attention you deserve. Your first orthodontic visit will consist of an exam and a discussion of potential treatment options. This important visit will address your orthodontic needs to determine if this is the proper time to begin treatment. If the timing is right for treatment to begin, we will collect additional information in the form or orthodontic records, intra-oral and extra-oral photographs, panoramic and cephalometric X-rays, and models of your teeth and jaw relation.

Once we have evaluated your records, we conduct a treatment consultation to explain all phases of your treatment in step by step detail. We will provide a complete clinical diagnosis regarding the nature of your orthodontic problem, a written summary of the findings and a detailed plan that outlines your treatment, goals and estimated fees.

Open Communication

We believe that good orthodontic care begins with open communication. We encourage questions from both the patients and the parents, and as such, we provide ample time to answer all your questions regarding our diagnosis and recommendations, any alternative treatments and any symptoms present that may require additional treatment. Working together, we can achieve a true partnership, with one common objective – helping you achieve a beautiful, confident smile that you can be proud of!
