Dr. Thomas "Tim" Taylor
DMD, MS — Orthodontics
Dr. Thomas "Tim" Taylor knew early in life he wanted to be an orthodontist. While still in his undergraduate program at the University of Pittsburgh, he began conducting scientific orthodontic research with the Chairman of the Orthodontic Department at Pitt Dental School — something unheard of then and now. Each member of our treatment team is specially trained as an orthodontic assistant. We receive training in CPR and OSHA annually, and attend numerous continuing education courses throughout the year. Our team takes extra time and care for every patient — we love all of our patients as if they were one of our own children.

Every patient who visits Suffolk Braces begins with a complimentary consultation, where Dr. Taylor listens to your goals, examines your teeth and bite, and explains your options in plain language. We offer in-house payment plans, accept most insurance, and can discuss financing, so cost questions are answered up front. With two offices in Suffolk, VA and hours Monday through Thursday and Friday mornings, finding a convenient appointment is easier. Beyond the office, our team gives back through the Smile for Christmas essay contest, YMCA Healthy Kids Days, and support for more than 25 local charities.
