How We Are Different

At Suffolk Braces, our mission is to transform smiles and enrich lives. We practice a philosophy of comprehensive care — focusing on oral health first, function second, and aesthetics third.

Comprehensive Orthodontics

Orthodontics is so much more than simply straightening teeth. A beautiful smile is important — and certainly achievable! However, if we straighten the teeth with no regard to health or function, you will most likely encounter more advanced problems in the future. Comprehensive orthodontics offers an aesthetically-pleasing smile, a functional bite, optimal joint health, proper tooth form, improved airway flow, and more.

Board-Certified Excellence

Dr. Taylor is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, an honor less than one-third of orthodontists ever achieve. He has since gone on to receive his FACE Certificate for orthodontic excellence. FACE (Functional and Cosmetic Excellence) is the only multi-year international post-graduate study program in the world for orthodontists.

A Talented Team of Experts

Patient care is our number one priority. That is why each and every one of our team members are specially trained in the field of orthodontics. We routinely attend courses in continuing education, and renew our OSHA and CPR training regularly. Our amazing team of professionals makes our patients feel at home and welcome.

Community Involvement

We have teamed with Suffolk Public Schools, Bennett's Creek Little League, YMCA, Oasis Ministry, Suffolk Humane Society, Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters (CHKD), For Kids: Helping Homeless, and many other events and organizations over the years to give back to the community we love.

Orthodontic Care in Suffolk, VA That Puts Your Health First

When you choose an orthodontist in Suffolk, VA, you deserve more than a quick fit-and-adjust routine. Our philosophy of oral health first, function second, and aesthetics third means every treatment plan begins with a careful look at your gums, bone, jaw joints, and bite before we ever discuss how your smile will look. Dr. Taylor uses modern tools such as digital scanning and cone beam imaging to understand your unique anatomy, then explains what he sees in plain language so you can make confident decisions. From your complimentary consultation to the day your braces come off, you will work with a caring team that knows your name and your goals. We see patients at two convenient Suffolk locations, so finding a time that fits your family's schedule is easier. Our goal is simple: a smile that looks great, works well, and stays healthy for the long run.
